I chose this image because of the patience and luck it took to capture it. I usually look for color in and around the Waikiki area after the Elite finishers during the Honolulu Marathon. We were threatened with rain this year, but luckily it passed without incident, but not before leaving some puddles, which made for interesting, disconnected reflections on passing runners. I worked this angle for about 30 minutes, constantly on the viewfinder, to get the right position and timing of a passing runner.
