Konishiki Trains Local Sumotori

Retired sumotori Konishiki Yasokichi watches as young sumotori train during a sumo training session on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at UFC BJ Penn Gym in Honolulu. Konishiki Yasokichi, or Saleva'a Fuauli Atisano'e, was the first foreign sumotori to reach the rank of Ozeki--the second highest ranking in sumo. The young sumotori, under the tutelage of Konishiki and coach Kena Heffernan, will be traveling to Japan on January 24.
